Full Journal pdf2022-04-14 House Journal Page 2537 HB 306 The following was read the second time: HOUSE BILL NO. 306 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Pharmacy; and providing for an effective date." with the: Journal Page L&C RPT 4DP 3NR 1972 FN1: (CED) 1972 FIN RPT 3DP 6NR 2262 FN1: (CED) 2262 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Eastman: Page 1, line 1, following "Pharmacy;" (title amendment): Insert "relating to disciplinary sanctions by the Board of Pharmacy;" Page 1, following line 5: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 2. AS 08.80.261 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: (c) The board may not deny a license to an applicant or 2022-04-14 House Journal Page 2538 impose disciplinary sanctions against a pharmacist for making a political statement, including criticism of a governmental agency or information disseminated by a governmental agency." Renumber the following bill section accordingly. Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Story objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative Tuck moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 306 be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There was objection. HB 306 will advance to third reading on tomorrow's calendar.
